Spend three creative hours exploring the vibrant world of zinnias through acrylic painting. In this relaxed and hands-on workshop, artist Karina Devine will guide you step-by-step in creating a colourful zinnia painting inspired by her own highly detailed and joyful painting style.

You’ll learn how to simplify and build up a zinnia using layers of acrylic paint, exploring colour, shape, pattern and composition to create flowers that are full of energy and personality. Karina will demonstrate techniques for creating the individual petals, defining the flower centres and adding the small details that bring the painting to life.

The workshop is suitable for beginners and more experienced painters alike. You don’t need to be able to draw or have previous experience with acrylics – just bring your enthusiasm and enjoy a few hours of painting, experimenting and getting lost in colour.

You’ll leave the workshop with your own vibrant zinnia artwork on paper, as well as some new acrylic painting techniques to take into your future work.
