Volunteering at Warwick Art Gallery is a great way of supporting the Gallery, making new friends and learning new skills. By joining our enthusiastic and dedicated team who come from all walks of life, you will work in a supportive and safe environment delivering invaluable support to Gallery staff while sharing your passion for the arts and the wider community.

Depending on your interest and schedule, there are diverse ways to contribute to our operations. Whether you like to be behind-the-scenes or working with people, Warwick Art Gallery has a number of volunteer opportunities for you.

We are currently seeking volunteers for the following positions:

Front of house

Our front of house volunteers welcome visitors, direct them to various gallery spaces and amenities, respond to enquiries and share information about current exhibitions. They also assist in the processing of sales in the Gallery shop, record visitor numbers and when needed, help with simple administrative tasks.

Exhibitions Team

As part of our exhibitions team, you will assist in the installation and demount of exhibitions as well as assisting with travelling exhibition condition reporting, handling artworks and packing crates. Each year we see opportunities to get involved with touring exhibitions from state and national galleries.

As a member of our events team, you will assist with the delivery of public programs and events such as exhibition openings, artist talks and community engagement projects. Joining our events team is a great way to experience our programs, exhibition and events first-hand.
