The Winner of our People's Choice Vote for 2026 is...

Tree 53 "Jam Packed" created by The Community Place in Kalinga, Brisbane.

Here is what the creators wrote about their entry:

"The Community Place is “Jam Packed’ full of activity, connection, classes and people! We wanted to showcase this in our 2026 Warwick Tree. Our trunk features a collage of craft - flowers and leaves, butterflies and bees, rolling hills, clouds, a crochet rainbow and the sun - created by our community, including our ‘Heartists’, “Social Stitches” and “Lets Unwind” groups that meet regularly and craft together. Where we could we recycled, upcycled, donated and reused textiles. From the tree branches hang more crafty creations from birds and bees and butterflies to flowers and leaves and pom poms! The Community Centre sits amongst lovely parks and grounds with lively bird life. Can you spot the Lapwing and her babies on our tree? Our ‘grass’ has been created out of dozens of pom poms made by many clever hands including contributions from our Boomerang Bags Nundah group and friends of the Centre.  The daffodils, being watered by the watering can represent growth and nurturing. Our beautiful picnic was created by many talented ladies, representing the wonderful food and (of course) tea and coffee always on hand at the Centre, where folks can socialise and share some treats all year round. The strawberries and mushroom – just because!"
