A strong interest in the technique called Intentional Camera Movement (ICM) inspired the collaboration of photographers Wayne Budge and Julie Sisco to create this exhibition. Although stylistically different, they are attracted to the dynamic ICM technique that blends motion and light.
Each image is a journey into the fluidity of time and perception, where the familiar transforms into the abstract. ICM captures not just a moment, but the energy and essence of a scene, revealing the emotions and stories that often lie beneath the surface. Through this technique, the artists challenge traditional notions of photography as a medium of precise representation. Instead, they embrace the unpredictability of motion, allowing the camera to dance alongside our subjects
