SIDE BY WONDER CHILDREN IN CONVERSATION WITH ART

In this exhibition, seven young artists from Warwick Art Gallery’s weekly children’s art class respond to six treasured works  from our art collection. 

Each child has created an artwork inspired by a painting from the collection, reflecting their own ideas, emotions, and imagination. Over the school holidays, the young artists received guidance from the Gallery team to help them convert their ideas into an artwok.

Displayed side by side, these paired works invite viewers to see familiar art through fresh eyes — celebrating creativity, curiosity, 

and the wonder of artistic conversation across generations.
