CURRENT VACANCY - COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT OFFICER

THE CANDIDATE:

You are an individual who is passionate about the arts with a desire to ensure positive and meaningful experiences for patrons of Warwick Art Gallery. This exciting new position will see you deliver high quality service to all customers and members of Warwick Art Gallery, while assisting in the delivery of an active and sustainable community engagement program that supports and encourages arts and culture on the Southern Downs

POSITION TITLE: Community Engagement Officer
REPORTS TO: The Gallery Director in the first instance and the Chairperson of Warwick Art Gallery Incorporated Committee in the final instance

AWARD: Amusement, Events and Recreation Award 2010 [MA000080]

HOURS OF DUTY: 29 hours per week - 7.25 hours per day Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday
SALARY: In terms of the Award. Included provision for superannuation, LSL, leave loading. Hourly rate range from $23.82 to $25.20

PLACE OF EMPLOYMENT: Warwick Art Gallery with limited travel mainly in the local district
POSITION: Permanent part time, subject to 6 month probation period.

OTHER: This position requires the completion of a satisfactory Criminal History Check - Police Certificate (Australia Wide Name Only Police Check).  A working with children/Blue Card check will be completed for this position.
